Age & Weight Divisions
Mile High Sand Nationals is open to all ages including adults. All competing athletes under 18 years of age must have a current USA Wrestling Athlete membership to participate. Athletes only need a "limited folkstyle" membership. Participants in the open division do not need a USA wrestling athlete card.
Divisions are grade based. In addition, you will enter the current weight of the competitor. We will use Madison Weight Bracketing for this tournament. There will be no weigh-ins at this tournament and will be on the honor system with a check scale if challenged. The age group is based on the upcoming school year. You will enter your competitor at the grade they will start in the upcoming fall. For example, if your boy wrestler will enter the 6th Grade then you will enter them in the MS 6th-7th Grade.
